My empathic stance focuses on the client's individual needs and strengths while understanding their world view as a means of inspiring change and moving them towards a balanced life. I have over 10 years of Mental Health experience providing therapeutic services in various environments to include residential facilities, Psychiatric hospitals, Partial hospitalization programs, group homes and community outpatient settings. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families providing individual, family and group Psychotherapy. I'm fully trained in these evidenced based practice models; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Person Centered Therapy. I also have an additional certification as a Certified Clinical Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. As an Adolescent counselor I facilitated Seven Challenge Substance abuse groups.
