Everyone faces challenges along the journey of life. My job is to help you navigate those challenges. It is not easy to ask for help and I believe it is courageous to "feel the fear and do it anyway" rather than to suffer silently. My style is collaborative and conversational with practical, effective tools to empower you to grow and heal through whatever challenge prompts you into counseling. Common themes are relationship conflict or stress, divorce and rebuilding your life, spiritual struggles, managing stress and anxiety, and/or a desire to speak your truth and live a more authentic life. As a Marriage and Family Therapist I look at your issues from a "big picture" relational perspective. Its not just about what is happening inside of you. Your relationships, past and present, your family of origin, and the patterns that govern these relationships are also strongly considered. I am additionally certified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist. This tool is an adjunct to your traditional therapy sessions and addresses the root causes of your issues in a safe, effective, and holistic way.
