Life can bring many challenges. Thankfully, there are strategies which can help us through the tough times. I can help you or your child learn how to manage worries, sadness, or an unexpected situation. Whether it is to work through relationship issues, job/educational difficulties, family stress, or a recent loss, I can provide a non-judgmental, safe environment which allows for you to regain control of your life and achieve your personal goals. I have had success in treating tweens, adolescents, young adults and adults with anxiety and depression. I have also received special training in the areas of families in crisis, self-harm, trauma and grief & loss. If you, your child/adolescent, or family is struggling with these issues, I may be the right fit for you. I am trained in a generalist, strengths-based perspective. This means I draw on several theoretical approaches to therapy, allowing us to work together to find what will be most beneficial to you in managing your difficulties. My hope is that you find something to take from each session that you can use right away.
