Are you facing illness, aging, disability, trauma or death - as an individual, a family member, a caregiver or healthcare professional? I provide personal counseling to make sense of health changes and their impact on your life. I also offer case management and system navigation to help consider care options and access social service benefits. I can develop and deliver educational programming for groups and agencies that want to understand more about psycho-spiritual and practical issues related to health, aging and caregiving. I have almost 20 years of professional experience in health care, palliative and hospice counseling and chaplaincy. My experience is professional and personal. My own family is profoundly affected by Huntington's Disease and all the emotional, spiritual, physical, legal and financial difficulties that unexpected loss, changes in health and aging bring. I also served as Guardian for a grandfather with dementia. I can bring my services to you. I understand that illness or frailty make it difficult to leave home to get help. Together, we can work with your grief and come to terms with what is - and even what is good and possible.
