Welcome! I hope you are successful in your search for a clinician to address your concerns and that the information here will help with your decision. Some of my core values as a psychologist are to work openly and collaboratively with my clients. I generally work from a contemporary/relational psychoanalytic perspective. This means that, along with focusing on the here and now difficulties a client is facing, I strive to understand how past experiences and relationships influence expectations about the future. Clients with whom I work seek help with issues such as depression, anxiety, panic disorder and relationship difficulties. I also have expertise in evaluating academic needs of high school and college students diagnosed with learning disabilities or related conditions such as ADHD. I conduct formal psychoeducational assessments to clarify the learning challenges a student faces as well as his/her areas of academic competency and strength.
