BloomingKids Counseling, LLC is a comprehensive child and family-centered practice that addresses your concerns from a holistic perspective. My goal is to find solutions to individual problems using evidence-based practices and current knowledge in psychology, neuroscience, nutrition and health sciences. I accomplish this goal by using child and family-focused therapy and cognitive-behavioral interventions. I specialize in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with a range of needs: ADHD, Autism, Attachment, Mood Disorders, Anxiety and Depression, Anger Management, Parenting Support, Trauma and Adoption and Foster Care needs. I earned my bachelors from Johns Hopkins University and masters from Indiana University. I have a multi-modal approach consisting of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis, Theraplay, and family systems. I specialize in developing behavioral intervention plans for Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, anger issues, depression and anxiety. I am currently not accepting new patients at this time as I am going on maternity leave this summer. I will be available for consulting work and home-based therapy in January 2016.
