I am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in both Oregon (T0997) and California (MFC38767). I work with issues ranging from depression and anxiety to problematic relationships with friends, families, or partners; job difficulties, lack of social support and loneliness, substance abuse, and life transition issues such as the empty nest, aging, illness, care-taking of elderly relatives, and even fundamental questions about identity, death, and the meaning of life. I see the process of psychotherapy as a collaborative inquiry. I help couples to articulate unmet needs, working to establish compassion and understanding for the loneliness and suffering that can arise in relationships.
