Since everyone is different I am very flexible or eclectic in therapy,using Play Therapy with Children and with Adolescents. With Adults and Couples I draw from many modalities and my 30 years of experience. Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy [REBT] is my primary orientation. Specialties are, ADHD both children and Adults; Depression and Anxiety, Survivors of abuse; Marriage and Family issues and provide Substance Abuse Assessment and Treatment plans to meet the requirements of DOT [Dept.of Transportation]in safety sensetive jobs. A=Attitude thru which everyday events are filtered, triggering E or Emotions, in turn triggering B=Behavior. Treatment involves change. 90% + of human behavior flows from Feelings or Emotions. 12 years High School teacher. 10 years with LA Dept of Health and Human Resources. 5 years with OLOLRMC. During those years I also did Marriage and Family at night at the Catholic Life Center. Since 1993 full-time private practice at 5425 Brittany Drive. Married and 2 grown children.
