Gail has practiced psychotherapy for the past 21 years. Aquidneck Island Psychotherapy & Meditation, LLC utilizes a bio/psycho/social model. The mission statement includes helping the patient create balance within a safe setting through talk therapy, meditation, nutrition, exercise and spirituality. The type of therapy utilized is based on the individual's needs and discussed during the evaluation process. Patients have several types to choose from which include, but are not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Creative Visualization, Mindfulness Meditation, Eco-Therapy, Loving-kindness Meditation, the innovative Walk and Talk Program and Traditional Psychodynamic treatment. Some of her specialties with adults, couples and groups include: Depression, Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), Grief Counseling, Adjustment to Medical Illnesses, and issues facing the Geriatric population (i.e., isolation, depression, anxiety, inter-family communications/ relationships.) Gail is licensed in Rhode Island, New York and California. Skype and home visits may be provided based on the individual's needs. Most recent concentrations include Reiki Therapy, Meditation, Sports and Eco Therapy.
