I am a licensed mental health counselor who works part-time with a diverse population. I have a range of experience working wih children and families, couples, and individuals. I have worked with individuals who have experienced abuse/trauma; depression and anxiety; behavioral problems; ADHD; conflict resolution; anger management; relational issues; divorce; bereavement; self-esteem, substance use etc. I believe in utilizing the strength of the individuals I work with; that change comes through intrinsic motivation and that each person given the right circumstances can achieve their God given potential. I would describe my counseling style as eclectic utilizing different methods and styles based on the circumstances presented. I have a strong belief that what we think affects our well being and action; that motivation for lasting change has to be intrinsic; that we grow and thrive when shown postive regard.
