I received my BA at Purdue University in Psychology and my MA at Valparaiso University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I'm a National Certified Counselor (NCC) as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHCA-Associate's License). I see children, adults, families, and groups. I visit homes, hospitals, and nursing homes. I also travel to Porter and LaPorte County Schools weekly to help children in their educational environment. I have experience working with a variety of clinical concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. I have 13 years of experience with all ages and a variety of clinical concerns. I use a variety of approaches, including but not limited to: family systems therapy, narrative therapy, play therapy, solutions focused therapy, client centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma informed therapy . At Lawrence Pincus & Associates we try to pair each person with the therapist best suited to them and get them in to be seen quickly. We accept numerous insurance companies and even accept patients with no insurance.
