You have made it through challenging life experiences and now the past is catching up to you. You may have trouble concentrating. Maybe you are feeling anxious, having trouble sleeping and relationships are faltering. You are officially stuck and no amount of positive thinking is changing that. My specialty is getting you "unstuck." Whether it is a current situation that you want to focus on or something from the past that you want to work on, I meet you where you are and help you get where you want to go. I am currently doing a study using EMDR to help resolve the underlying issues of emotional eating.The study entails receiving up to 12 individual sessions of EMDR therapy, keeping a daily food/mood/activity log and weighing in every week. I will make follow up calls 3, 6, 9, and 12 months post therapy. We have a Spanish speaking therapist. One who runs substance abuse groups, anger management groups. This therapist also conducts substance abuse evaluations that satisfy court requirements.
