I am a licensed psychologist with extensive experience and interest in providing clinical services to individuals (late adolescents and adults) of diverse populations (i.e., race/ethnicity, religion/spiritual practices, gender/sexual orientation). My goal is to assist you on your journey of personal growth and adaptive coping/wellness. I have a strong commitment to the field of psychology, and I bring much warmth and compassion to my work. I treat anxiety disorders, eating disorders/body image, mood disorders/depression, women's issues, interpersonal concerns (relationships, friendships, family), adjustment issues (career/job, school, marriage, parenting, acculturation), and identity development (cultural, sexual, value formation/clarification). I utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and work with personality disorders and impulse control issues. I work from a multidisciplinary team approach and often collaborate, when warranted, with other professionals including psychiatrists, physicians, nurse practitioners, and nutritionists in order to provide the highest quality services possible.
