I have extensive experience in numerous therapeutic techniques and am oriented as a family-systems therapist. I am also a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). I help my clients to: proactively manage themselves; identify and implement new behaviors that dissolve negative patterns; and provide guidance and support as the new, positive patterns are cemented. I work most effectively with: Individuals; Couples; and Families. I help my clients set realistic treatment goals so they can quickly see the results they desire. I use a variety of techniques as indicated by the client's needs. I prefer to use Solution-Focused interventions, as well as techniques from Structural and Strategic family therapy models. I have a special interest in the areas of: infertility and adoption; couples in the first 2-5 years of marriage; couples on the brink of divorce; and personal empowerment.
