I transitioned to full time private practice on July 1, 2014. After 10 years working in an intensive treatment center and 3 years as Clinical Director at Doorways, focusing on the treatment of Eating Disorders, it was time to broaden the scope of my practice. Although I will continue to treat older adolescents and Eating Disorders on a case by case basis, I am increasing my focus on Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and related Anxiety Disorders, Trauma and Couples & Marital Therapy. My therapeutic style is relational, based on a conversation between equals. I genuinely care about the wellbeing of my clients. I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) largely due to treating people with eating disorders for nearly 15 years. Since Eating Disorders are often accompanied by OCD and Trauma, I have completed advanced training pertaining to OCD and Anxiety Disorders along with EMDR for the treatment of trauma.
