The decision to seek support can be difficult and it is important to find the right fit. I enjoy working with high needs children, and adolescents; as well as their family system. I have worked with individuals who have a history of behavioral issues, adoption issues, grief, trauma, attachment issues, abandonment issues, and self-harm. Research has uncovered critical new information about the brain. I incorporate this information from neuroscience to help maximize effectiveness in my work with both children and adults. Approaches I use include EMDR, Theraplay based techniques, and traditional play therapy.
