I am a Professional Counselor specializing in therapy for children, adolescents, individuals, couples, families, and groups. I maintain a private practice in Snellville, GA. My clinical experience has focused on family relationships, depression; anxiety; ADHD; relationship issues; parenting; children and adolescent issues; anger management, assessments for mental health services; sexual abuse, and play therapy. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Family Systems Therapy to meet my clients needs. I have been certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors as an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). I earned a Master of Education degree in Counselor Education from the University of New Orleans. I am licensed in the States of Georgia and Louisiana as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am also a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Louisiana. My experience includes over 18 years of working with children with severe emotional and behavioral issues. I have received specialized training in working with sexually abused victims. I have been certified in Equine Assistant Psychotherapy. I am trained in Hope Focused Marriage Counseling and I am a certified Prepare/Enrich Couples Counselor.
