I am a licensed clinical social worker with a focus on the treatment of children, teens, and adults who have experienced both normal life stresses as well as traumas. I have experience working in several different settings including adoption, foster care, the school system as well as the intensive outpatient hospital setting. I utilize a variety of treatment approaches including family systems, psychodynamic, and TF-CBT which helps the individual learn to process thoughts and feelings related to traumatic life events; resolve distressing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors related to these events and enhance safety, growth, parenting skills, and family communication. In addition, I utilize holistic and mindfulness approaches to help the individual increase awareness in their life, understand the mind body connection, and learn how to create balance.
