Is your child, teen, or family struggling to adjust to transitions or a traumatic experience, such as a divorce or sexual abuse? We have focused on assisting children cope with family changes, such as divorce, moving, adoption, or loss of a family member, and with traumatic experiences, such as sexual abuse. We look forward to helping your child and family move past the effects of difficult changes. We are located in Decatur, one block from the Marta Station. We accept all Peachcare, Medicaid, and most major insurances. We offer a sliding fee scale based on income. We have a certification in treating traumatic stress from the International Association of Trauma Professionals documenting my extensive training in treating children and adolescents who have survived a major change or traumatic experience. Our space offers play and art experiences that help children express feelings in appropriate ways.
