As a Clinical Neuropsychologist at Anchor Memory Clinic, people come to see me because they are having concerns with memory, attention or other aspect of thinking. Many times family members bring in a loved one because they have noticed a change in thinking or behavior. This type of examination uses behavioral tests to identify the brain systems that are problematic and allows me to determine the severity of the deficits. Treatment recommendations are specific to the findings and the individual's needs. Every evaluation takes into consideration the latest scientific findings in neuropsychology, but also the individual's unique situation. I see many different conditions. The most common evaluations are for dementia, traumatic brain injury, stroke, ADHD, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and Lyme Disease. Many people feel that they have memory decline and worry that it may be dementia. This evaluation can identify dementia in its earliest stages. In addition to neuropsychological evaluations, our team at Anchor Memory Clinic and Anchor Counseling Center provides counseling and emotional support.
