I am compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, and dedicated to meeting the needs of my clients. I want to help you resolve your unique problems and concerns. My goal is to partner with you, truly listen to and hear what you are saying, help you to identify the causes of your difficulties, then collaborate together to develop realistic strategies to effectively manage your feelings, improve coping skills, navigate life's many challenges and most importantly, improve your overall quality of life. With more than 20 years of experience and a great deal of specialized training, I utilize a wide variety of strategies in my work with children, adolescents, adults, families and couples experiencing relationship, transition, mental health, occupational, educational and behavioral issues. My post-doctoral training within the Brown Medical School has allowed me the privilege of learning from extraordinary mental health experts. While I have worked in community mental health centers, residential facilities, and psychiatric hospitals, serving clients in the private practice I started in 1994, with the personalized care it allows, is my true passion.
