I have professional training and expertise in family therapy, relationship/marital problems and high conflict, divorce, and family adjustment/transition issues. I also specialize in treatment of adult/child victims of traumatic events, physical, sexual, emotional/psychological abuse and neglect. I provide services to children/adults experiencing social, emotional and behavioral issues, ADD/ADHD, mood disorders, autism spectrum, attachment issues, youth with disengaged or oppositional behaviors, sexually maladaptive youth, juvenile probation and mental health issues resulting in delinquency. I enjoy assisting my clients to improve relationships, communication and shift from being victims to becoming survivors of past experiences and interpersonal or family issues including the effects of their abuse. I focus on clients strengths and teach/mentor empowerment, assertiveness and self advocating skills for dependent personality types. You will feel very relaxed and at ease with my unique office setting. Nestled within a quaint 30 acre horse facility adjacent to downtown Plainfield. Most clients LOVE the natural environment and view of the horses in the pastures. We can use the entire property for our own refuge.
