The mend program was developed to serve persons struggling with sexual addiction, their partners, and families who love them. mend offers comprehensive assessment, individual, couple and group therapy. Spirituality is a key part of recovery from addiction; each client is assisted in considering how her or his spirituality has been programmed - how each came to believe what is believed and how this directs the addiction cycle. Each person is re-telling a story within his or her sexual addiction cycle and mend assists in resolving "the core issues for which addiction has become the solution" (Patrick Carnes: "Facing The Shadow"). I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and completed the certification via IITAP (International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals). Most people don't seem to be aware of the power of their beliefs. Beliefs direct everything in life; influencing choice and determining the outcomes each person sees self as being worthy of.
