It is my goal to help individuals maximize their strengths. I am amazed at the potential someone is able to realize when they begin using their personality traits in a way that enhances the positive aspects of who they are. I am a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice on Miami Beach. I have extensive training and experience in the treatment of adults, adolescents and families. I am equipped to treat various issues and complaints using an approach that is designed to meet the needs and comfort levels of my patients. My treatment approach integrates an individuals past experiences with their present, here and now focus. I utilize techniques such as EMDR, Cognitive reshaping, Psychodynamic self understanding, and practical reality-based coaching to help my patients achieve a sense of balance and well being. I have extensive training in EMDR which is one of the most effective techniques for trauma work. Post-partum depression is an area that requires immediate and effective therapy. Through EMDR and traditional therapy, I have been able to help many women through this difficult and trying time in their lives.
