As a social worker I've been trained to be a generalist. This is roughly the equivalent of a GP meaning I have a broad general knowledge of mental health issues vs a specialty in any one area. My belief as a therapist is that my client and I are equal partners in healing. I am an expert in depression, anxiety and other issues of mental health. You are an expert on yourself. Together we can find the answers that best help you. I've worked a great deal with children and teens. Since 2013 I have semi-retired and do not have after school or weekend hours. I am still happy to see children who can attend therapy in the day. I also enjoy working with adults of all descriptions..
