Areas of my practice include: Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and other effects of trauma; depression; managing chronic health conditions; grief and loss; stress management; life transitions; and relationship difficulties. Therapy can help trauma survivors reestablish a sense of safety, develop new skills, confront the reality of events, and communicate needs to others. I have ten years of therapy experience with survivors of all kinds of trauma, and with military veterans in particular. I also have experience helping veterans cope with post-deployment transitions and separation from the military. I frequently help couples communicate more effectively about mental health concerns and differences between military and civilian culture.
