For me there is no "ideal" client. The ideal client is you. You with all your experiences, your struggles, your joys. I am interested in getting to know each client as an individual so that I can help them learn, develop and grow from the counseling experience. These are a few of the issues I have experience working with clients on: anxiety and depression, grief and anger, feelings of uncertainty and hopelessness and communication issues for couples struggling to stay together. I like to work from a strengths based perspective, building upon a client's skills and support to help ensure success in counseling. In addition I often use mindfulness, visualization techniques, art therapy and somatic therapy as well as CBT.
