Step out of the Darkness and into the Light Our mission is to educate our clients on the disease concept so they fully understand that alcohol and drugs are just symptoms of a much bigger problem. That unmanageability will always manifest and will permeate every aspect of their lives until they face the truth. It is our belief that recovery for the individual needs to be grounded in rooting out the core issues, rather than just placing a band aid on, by dealing with the symptoms. Our treatment will address the individual's trauma, shortcomings, character defects, and distorted perceptions. Clients will have the ability to see the world and their dilemma on an even playing field with clarity. Planted firmly in reality of this truth, they can now take root and grow. Our Program Here at SUR, we believe addiction is a disease of the body, mind and spirit. Recognizing this, our approach to rehabilitate an addict is multidimensional, including but not limited to, individualized and group therapy using evidence based treatment modalities for addiction and co-occurring disorders. Classes and groups, that focus on restoring the body to a healthy hi-functioning state. Activities and discussions on redressing ones spirit to an enlightened and peaceful balance. We take great pride in our practices and procedures, exceeding any expectation and setting a new, "Gold Standard". We only employee certified individuals, with experience and credentials in their particular field. With all clinicians being "Master Level" therapists, licensed and/or certified in addiction studies and co-occurring disorders. Our staff realizes threw years of experience that there is no, "Cookie Cutter" way to recovery; thus all of our clients are seen as individuals. With the focus of our staff, as a whole, to assist every client with all and any tools needed to reach their individualized goal. We want you and your therapist to decide the best course for your recovery. Our Vision Addiction to alcohol and other chemicals has become the epidemic of our time, with years of experience in helping other recovering individuals our staff believes we can make a difference. Through treating each client like they are our only priority we can infest the recovery process at its source and then filter that rehabilitation out to the world.
