"Every new day is a chance to change your life". My job as a counselor is to help you make the change in your life that will bring you to a better place. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues or having problems with adjustment to any new life situation, things can get better with help through counseling. I have a special fondness for working with people who struggle with addictions (drug, alcohol, gambling, eating, etc). Addictions are a coping skill that can be replaced with more healthy choices. Working together we will find a better way! Research continues to find new and exciting ways to help people overcome the tough times in life. I make it my goal in my practice to do the same.Through continuing education I stay up to date on the most effective treatments for all issues. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Certified Addiction Professional and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I am an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained therapist which has proven results. I have flexible office hours because not everyone can be in crisis between 9-5 on Monday through Friday.
