Dr. Scott is committed to facilitating the healing, recovery and integration of motivated, proactive clients who are interested in approaching their behavioral health from an eclectic and multi-disciplinary approach. He uses many traditional and non-traditional techniques that are described below. His commitment is to start where the client is and assist them in the process of self-discovery, mastery and holistic wellness. Sessions are from 45 minutes to 5 hours and treatment plans are specifically customized to each individual and family. Typical treatment duration lasts from a few sessions to occasional therapeutic relationships that span years. Dr. Scott holds a PhD in Clinical Hypnotherapy from American Pacific University and specializes in trauma recovery, addictions and phobias. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, in both California and Nevada. Dr. Scott is also a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Time Empowerment, and a Master Hypnotherapist. As a practicing Buddhist for over 35 years, Dr. Scott intends on assisting clients to achieve balance in the arenas of the physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual and intuitive. His approaches are pragmatic, compassionate and geared toward the ultimate wholeness, groundedness and centeredness of individuals and families.
