My specialities are in mood and anxiety disorders, trauma and grief. I am a certified trauma professional, certified in DBT, Level II trained in EMDR and Level III trained in Gottman Marital Therapy. I am also a Board Certified Coach. I specialize in adults, adolescents, couples and families. I have a psychodynamic approach to therapy, exploring how your past and the thoughts it generates affects your present. We will explore, together, the way your life is impacted by dysfunctional thinking. I also use a skills based approach, coming up with ways to improve the quality of your relationships and your life. I also deal with issues of trauma, loss and PTSD. As a trauma professional, I will help you to develop coping skills and ways to deal with the impact of these challenges in your life in a supportive, caring environment.
