I enjoy working with women, couples, children/adolescents, and elders in my practice. I have a strong background in grief support therapy, support through pregnancy and postpartum, and recovery from trauma. I approach therapy in a holistic manner addressing the issues of the mind as well as the body and psyche. With a background in depth psychology, I aim for therapeutic change that reaches beyond behavioral changes to a deeper level of change by bringing what is not conscious into awareness to establish changes in patterning that are enduing through the lifespan. I like to work in creative ways in therapy. I believe that when we can creatively ingest and then express something from a traumatic experience we are integrating the experience into the psyche. I engage with myths, archetypes, and fairy tales in my practice to support and inspire clients. I have extensive training in grief support, pregnancy and postpartum care, recovery from sexual trauma/violence, sexuality education, and care for adolescents with mental illness. I welcome clients of all ages who identify as LGBTIQ.
