I can be a resource to you if you have experienced a job loss, a significant life transition, struggle with chronic emotional pain, or are experiencing distress. Making a change in your life is difficult. I can validate your experience, offer support and assist you in learning new skills. I utilize several modalities or methods for treatment. Solution Focused Therapy is an excellent brief therapy for many acute difficulties such as transitions in jobs or relationships. I use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to build skills in regulating emotions. Interpersonal Psychotherapy is a brief therapy that is excellent in treating depression. I also have an M.Div. from Luther Theological Seminary and a 2 year Practicum in Pastoral Counseling from the University of Puget Sound. I can help you connect your faith and values to your goals for change as well as help you deepen your spiritual experience.
