I seek to provide you with an experience in relationship that is sufficiently safe and supportive to allow you to make those choices and achieve those goals that improve the quality of your life. Within this framework, I am passionate about the use of relational mindfulness, and mindfulness in relationship with self, to create positive change. Very exciting new research supports mindful awareness techniques that create relational attunement with others and with self. This, in turn, creates positive structural changes in the brain; including successful, long term, integration of trauma history. I also rely heavily on other cognitive-behavioral techniques, parent/child interaction theory and techniques, brief solution focused strategies, along with a variety of other counseling approaches. I am willing and able to flexibly shift modalities to suit each client's individual needs,
