I utilize a variety of treatment modalities based on your individual needs in a holistic and empathetic environment. The therapeutic relationship between counselor and individual is vital as well as the belief that the individual has everything they need within to heal and integrate body, mind and spirit. I specialize in the treatment of addictions and all issues related to them using a whole body approach where the individual's needs direct the therapy. I have specialized in substance and behavior addictions, codependency, family of origin issues, depression, anxiety, relationships & trauma. I believe addiction is related to historical trauma & is a brain disorder, not a moral defect. Modalities include family of origin issues, person centered, Adlerian, CBT, EMDR, EFT, mindfulness and more. I have experience in therapies that address addictions, codependency, relationships, grief/loss, trauma and mental health issues. The relationship between client and counselor are key to healing. I believe we are able to find a modality that works best for your healing as we work together.
