As a licensed clinincal psychologist, I believe strongly in the power of therapy to lead to greater self-awareness and to relieve symptoms including depresssion and anxiety. For therapy to be effective, however, there must be a warm and trusting relationship between the therapist and patient. In the 15 years I have been a therapist, I have successfully treated children, adolescents, adults and families with a wide range of mental health issues. While the underlying concerns vary from patient to patient, the key to therapy is always providing a nurturing environment in which patients feel safe expressing their emotions. I work with children, adolescents, adults and families on a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety and behavioral concerns. I also perform psychological and neuropsychological assessment to assist in evaluating mental health concerns.
