Greetings - I have worked in the behavioral healthcare field for over 10 years, and I have been licensed by the State of RI as a Chemical Dependency Professional since 2008. In accordance with state standards (BHDDH), "Services are tailored to each patient's level of clinical severity and must address major lifestyle, attitudinal and behavioral issues that may impede the goals of treatment." In other words, I want to help you determine where you would like to be in life vs. what you are/not doing to be on that path. I will help you identify barriers in your "big picture" and brainstorm options with you to successfully overcome them. Utilizing your strengths, techniques from MI, CBT, DBT and a sprinkling of other tools, I offer assessments, referrals, and treatment based on ASAM criteria. I have extensive experience with DUI's, medical marijuana, medication assisted therapies and clients mandated to treatment.
