I have been treating individuals, couples, and families who have struggled with anxiety, depression, and addictive disorders for over 24 years. I can help you and your family create an understanding and respectful environment to engage in recovery with comfort and grace. Treating Mental Health issues requires establishing firm expectations of boundaries, the awareness of emotional dysfunction, and the processing of motivational issues. Using 12 step program tenents, James Masterson's object relations theories, as well as cutting edge cognitive behavioral techniques I see my patients making consistant progress towards their goals. Having suffered from severe depression and addictive disorders I can share a personal perspective on the difficult recovery process. My experiences in recovery regarding career, emotional stability, and healthy relationship development are an integral part of my practice and one that can aid in the development of your recovery plan.
