I feel providing counseling in the client's home can be beneficial as it minimizes the stress or anxiety that may emerge when thinking about traveling to a therapist office. I enjoy working with clients of diverse backgrounds and life challenges, and have found that my clients tend to feel more comfortable and open to share thoughts and feelings in a safe and familiar home environment. My primary theoretical orientation is psychodynamic therapy with emphasis on immediate and practical solution to the presenting issue. I also employ stress reduction techniques such as Mindfulness based counseling specially for anxiety and chronic pain.
