People come to my office seeking help with feelings of depression, fear, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship conflicts, self esteem issues, health issues, pain management, stress, overwhelming life change, and/or a history of trauma or abuse. My approach to therapy is collaborative and individualized to the unique needs of each person. I employ both cognitive-behavioral and insight-oriented therapy methods. Most people experience me as empathic and comfortable to talk with. I find my profession meaningful and fulfilling and value and respect my relationships with patients and clients. My patients/clients appreciate the safe, confidential environment of my private practice setting. The people I typically work with range from adolescence to retirement. I work with individuals, families and couples/partners. I enjoy working with people striving for optimal health and balance in their lives.
