Are you seeking connection, harmony and intimacy in your life? Through individual and couples counseling I help clients gain awareness and learn practical skills for creating happiness in their lives. Through a focus on family of origin I help clients heal patterns from the past so they can form healthy adult relationships with oneself and others. My approach helps clients gain insight into unhealthy patterns and develop practical skills for maintaining healthy boundaries and realizing personal goals in one's work, family, and personal life. Mindfulness, nurturance and truthful challenging are central to my approach. I specialize in couples counseling, relationship work, family of origin, anxiety and depression, grief and trauma (somatic experiencing), boundary and inner child work, parenting skills, and play therapy for children. My ideal client is someone who is serious about his or her own personal and spiritual growth. I have studied with many great teachers who have influenced my work including: Terry Real (relationship skills/Relational Life Therapy), Pia Mellody, (love addiction/co-dependency/healing core wounds), Peter Levine (Somatic Experiencing/Trauma Work), Caroline Myss (chakra work), Byron Katie, Sogyal Rinpoche and Khandro Rinpoche (Mindfulness).
