I have worked in the mental health and addictions fields since 1994. I started my private practice in 2007. I work with my clients from a theoretical orientation of counseling that blends cognitive behavioral, solution focused, humanistic and client centered models. What this means is that I believe in assisting and guiding in the process of your own journey of discovery and solutions, not dictating it. My personality is very laid back. I have been described as a compassionate, friendly, open, and caring individual. My motto is "live, love, laugh, just not at the expense of anyone else".
