I entered the profession of counseling because I believe, despite the worst circumstances experienced in life, people can find hope. Maybe you have found yourself or your child struggling through a difficult experience such as a loss or a trauma and you need someone to come alongside as you learn to live again. Perhaps you are struggling with anxiety, hopelessness, or shame and are not able to manage this on your own. Maybe you struggle with an eating disorder or an addiction of some sort and have been unable to overcome this by yourself. I am here to help. Counseling is about much more than fixing broken parts of your life. The journey of joining with a person who is hurting or struggling is one that I do not take lightly. I join with people experiencing a variety of struggles, as you can see from my specialities list. I do not believe, however, that these struggles define a person. I am passionate about helping clients find their true selves within the difficulties they have/are experiencing.
