Everyone wants to tell you what to do and you don't need any more advice or judgment. What you need is someone who can listen and help you look at the issue differently so that it becomes solved to your satisfaction. You are an individual and not a diagnosis. I work on remaining non-judgmental, open, accepting, and caring. Whatever the issue, we can work on it together to help you to find solutions. It's time for you to feel better! I have been working with clients to overcome mental health issues since 2000 and clients with substance abuse issues since 2002. I enjoy working with all-adult families--parents and adult children and/or adult siblings--as well as with individuals. I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to work with anxiety, fears, and other symptoms related to trauma such as nightmares and social phobia. I also use hypnotherapy to help you get to the source of issues that are keeping you stuck.
