It is my belief that people have the skills, courage and ability to overcome their life problems when provided the opportunity to safely explore what the challenges are and what skills they already possess to address them. As your therapist, I will work to understand your symptoms, stressors, problems and concerns. I will assist you in identifying what it is you would like to change about yourself, situation or beliefs in order to achieve your best self. I work with adult individuals, adolescents, and couples. I specialize in treating: existential issues, low self worth, relationship issues, depression, and anxiety. I am trained and experienced in a variety of other mental health issues such as co-dependency, poor emotion regulation, and lack of distress tolerance skills. My interventions and therapy style are relevant for most mental health challenges. I do have a certificate in drug and alcohol counseling (CADC I) and am able to effectively treat co-occurring disorders utilizing relapse prevention skills and addressing issues that exaserbate addictive behaviors.
