With more than thirty years of clinical experience, I work with adolescents and adults presenting with a diversity of problems. I am skilled in assisting clients to navigate through life's problems and acquire the coping skills necessary to provide both symptom relief and greater satisfaction with life. I enjoy working with motivated clients willing to make the those changes necessary to achieve a more gratifying and meaningful life. I am a most enthusiast clinician grateful and honored to be in a profession that affords me the opportunity to guide and witness an individual's journey towards personal growth. I provide outpatient individual, couples and family therapy to adolescents and adults. My specialties are in the areas of Eating Disorders and Addictions, both of which I have certifications. My treatment approach is humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral. By examining counterproductive thoughts, feelings and behaviors, positive changes become possible. As an ethical professional with integrity, I am committed to each client's personal goals and growth. My practice is interdisciplinary, marked by collaboration with other professionals to promote a client's overall well-being. In working with addictions, I strongly advocate participation in positive community group support systems.
