My goal as a therapist is to increase your zest and vitality for life, to foster your ability to take action (empowerment), as well as to support you in having clarity (a clearer picture of yourself and others). Each of these goals, I believe, lead to an increased sense of self worth. In my time as a therapist, I have found that growth occurs both individually as well as in connection with others and that growth fostering relationships (of all kinds) that are created through mutual empathy and mutual empowerment are a key aspect of all of our lives. I have 17 years of Social Work experience, including working for 9 years therapeutically with individuals, adolescents and families. It would be a gift to work with you on Relational Issues (both intact and non-intact families), Grief and Loss, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as well as Acute crisis/mental health. My hope is that we will work together to build a solid foundation within yourself and/or your family system to healthfully "weather the storms" of life. If you are interested, please call for a free consultation. I look forward to hearing from you!
