I look forward to meeting you. One of my first goals in therapy is to provide you with an atmosphere of privacy, safety and competency. Entering therapy is usually due to stressful situations, but it is also stressful in itself. I work hard to make the therapy session a place where a client feels comfortably, professionally assisted in addressing their most important feelings and issues. I have 30+ years of experience in doing this successfully. I do individual counseling and marital/family counseling. I use a variety of methods to help people accomplish their goals. One of these methods is hypnosis. Here is a potpourri of statements regarding my practice: I have regularly used hypnosis selectively for fifteen years. I received an award from the Indiana Association for Marriage and Family Therapy in 1998 for "INNOVATIVE SERVICE TO THE PROFESSION". One of the unique aspects of my practice is the use of clinical hypnosis. Another unique factor is my treating adults for Attention-Deficit / Hyperactifity Disorder(ADHD). Since 1988 the research community has noted fifty to eighty percent of children continue their ADHD symptoms into adulthood. Medical intervention is also required.
