Caitlyn is an intern at Healing Your Hidden Hurts. She graduated from Taylor University and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts degree in the Clinical Mental Health at Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana. She enjoys working with adolescents and individuals struggling with issues of depression and anxiety. Caitlyn places an emphasis on the therapeutic relationship as being the key for change and healing in the counseling process. "Counseling can seem scary at the beginning, but for me it is a partnership; we are on equal standing and work together." She also emphasizes on Choice Theory. "I connect with this theory because its emphases are solely on what we are in control of. We cannot always control what happens to us, but we do have control over where to go next."
