Dual-Diagnosis Teen Rehab Destinations to Recovery is an evidence-based, Dual Diagnosis residential treatment center for youth ages 13-18 affected by co-occurring substance abuse and/or mental health disorders. Residents attend a WASC accredited high school curriculum while receiving comprehensive treatment services, including: individual, family and group therapy as well as a broad range of interactive art and music therapy, yoga/meditation, 12 Step groups and AA meetings, cultural and recreational activities; and life skills training including career development, job placement, health care, college prep, transitional planning and more. Our clients have access to a fully loaded virtual and physical classroom, state of the art gym, a pool, state of the art technology, chef, basketball, music, art, drama, gaming, hiking, nature/Zen Gardening, meditation, yoga, outings, media room, and much more. Treatment Program The Destinations to Recovery program offers a robust, comprehensive, and individualized treatment program that begins at 6 AM and ends at 10 PM. Clients move through the day with therapeutic supervision and support and small staff-client ratios. Clients at Destinations to Recovery receive a minimum of three individual and one family session per week in addition to our multi-family, psychotherapeutic, life skills, experiential and psychoeducation groups as well as weekly psychiatric consult with our Medical Director and daily evaluation and support from our RN's. Additionally clients have access to local medical/vision/ and dental care, nutritionists, psychological testing, and other supports. The professionals as Destinations to Recovery work hand-in-hand with your pre and post providers and schools as well as a myriad of quality programs, educators and clinicians to provide a seamless transition between levels of care. Academics The Aspire Education program offers our clients the opportunity to receive a comprehensive education concurrently with their treatment. With a rigorous one-on-one focus on academics the Aspire Education program allows high performing students to continue to excel and enables underachieving students to reach their potential. Whether a client chooses to continue to stay enrolled in their home school or enrolls in the Aspire program, they will have the opportunity to continue with high school throughout their stay at Destinations to Recovery. The Aspire Education Program offers WASC accredited curriculum through our virtual classroom. Any credits completed at Aspire Education will transfer seamlessly back to the client's local high school. Parents can log in virtually or call in to track their child's progress with our instructors or to refine their child's education plan. In addition to resume building and interview training there will be regularly offered enrichment activities and presentations. Career professionals will present their numerous experiences and help clients build person road maps to carve out careers of their choosing. With SAT and GED prep offered as well, the Aspire Education program empowers our clients to pursue their future with confidence.
